Water soluble Oil on Canvas
40 x 28″
Saved for exhibition
Will be available for sale

Now that my studio is in my home, I have had to forsake my beloved oils for water soluble paint. This is my first completed work utilizing these paints, which lack the transparency only the evil turpentine thinner can provide. I am learning to deal with this more toothpaste-like material and have improvised mediums from my kitchen.

This work is called Headscape as it is an attempt to see the topography of a human face as one would a landscape. It is oversized, a bit stark, but it incorporates a bit of pathos in the expression. Hope you like it.
